SLYC Sailing Captain announces : Proposed Sailing Events

There have been many requests recently to promote the Saint Lucia Yacht Club and sailing. The following dates are local holiday dates and it has been suggested that on each of these days we organise sailing/racing/cruise/social event (or in some cases reinstate was has previously occurred).

1st May Labour Day

22nd May Corpus Christi
1st August Emancipation Day
2nd October Thanksgiving Day
13th December National Day

We can provide sailing opportunities for all (Optimists to ‘gin palaces!’) but it does require people to participate and plan to do so in advance.
